It is with heavy hearts; we announce the sudden passing of William Campbell (Billy) at the age of 76 while he was vacationing with family in Florida. Bill was born January 9,1943 in Sydney N.S. and was the loving son of the late Malcolm and Annie McNeil. Bill is survived by his wife Sharon nee Porga and son Wade (Laxmi) and daughters Nadine (Zolie), Mitzi, Melissa (Paul) and Dana (Kevin). Cherished grandfather of Nicole, Johan, Liam, Christopher, Kolby, Araylia, Rhiley and Sierra. Bill is also survived by his sisters Mary Broley, Carmella Moore, Carol MacKinnon and brothers Eddy, Wayne, Jimmy, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brothers Mack, Johnny, Lenny, and sister Phemie Crane. Bill was a retired member of Ironworkers Local 721 Toronto. Though Bill thoroughly enjoyed his beer, his number one passion was his grandchildren who he cherished deeply. Second to that was sitting by the fire at his trailer in Cayuga. He could always be seen (and heard) at night sitting around the fire, singing and dancing along with friends and family. In Bill’s later years, he enjoyed travelling around the world visiting with his children.
