Predeceased by his parents Michael and Sarah Devereaux and parents-in-law John and Mary Jane Wade. He will also be fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews and sadly missed by his extended family and friends in Newfoundland and Labrador and Ontario.
Frank was born in Newfoundland and Labrador and was a proud Newfoundlander even after moving to Oshawa, Ontario in 1986. Frank had a dedicated career as an ironworker for over 30 years in Locals 721 and 764. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Blue Jays. He enjoyed playing hockey, baseball and golf. He could remember sports stats from many years past. He was always up for a game of cards and was also known for being a trickster. He would remember and say many recitations, especially around the campfire at the trailer park. He loved to play guitar in his pastime, teaching both of his sons his musical talent. He had a love of food, often cooking up a feed of saltfish and never turning down sweets. Frank lived a faithful life as a Roman Catholic and would say “God love ya” to everyone.
